The Arts at Westminster
At Westminster Village, we encourage and provide opportunities for residents to explore their creative passions through artistic expression. With access to different art programs and creative studios, residents have every opportunity to learn a new artistic skill or fine-tune their talents.
We are proud to support the local arts community with various programs and have a permanent display at West Lafayette City Hall as well as the Westminster Village Art Gallery.
Our Mission Statement
The Westminster Village Art Gallery celebrates the visual arts and the talents of people from the Greater Lafayette area. The gallery serves as an on-site showcase for Westminster residents to see and exhibit their art and enriches the community with learning opportunities, special programs, and creative connections.
The Resident Art Gallery
“Art is too important to not share.”
Representing a wide range of subject matter, styles, and artistic mediums, the work seen here was created in our studios by talented residents and curated by the Westminster Village Art Council.
Our resident art gallery displays different rotating art pieces representing a wide range of subject matter, styles, and mediums – all made by resident artists. We welcome you to stop by and visit the gallery!
Woodworking Shop
The Woodshop, located off the Village Square, is community-based, run by residents, and maintained by Westminster Village. This is the place where friends come together to work on projects using shared tools and equipment fostering creativity and camaraderie. If you enjoy woodworking or want to explore it for the first time, you’ll feel right at home!
